Mark I checked the bolt like you said. It wasn't loose. I'm still trying to figure out where the water is coming from. Next step is to put dye in the water ballast tank. I hope thats not the source. Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but work has been nuts and I haven't been sailing. I'll be at the boat show next weekend though.

Maybe we can meet up

Sorry you still have your leak. Wracking my brain, I can't think of another leak source. It just doesn't seem conceivable that there's a breach of integrity in the water ballast tank. I'm not sure there's a way for it to get out and into the boat. Believe me, I studied that setup for hours and hours when I was tracing my leak. Anyway, my wife and I are going to be at the boat show Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon. Maybe we can hook up and compare 240 stories.

Mystery leaks

I've found 2 leaks in my 26. One from 4 drilled holes at the starboard side under the berth. The previous owner had these holes made to fasten a cooling-device. And he had them poorly tightened with a little silicon around. So when the boat healed over to the starboard side, the water in the ballast-tank came through. The other leak was at the same side and it showed on the same conditions - healing over to starboard. There is a hole in the side where the water from the kitchen-sink comes out. That valve was not tight at all. Now it is. So, in my experience there could be more than one explanation to water in the boat. Toomas
