Mariner Roller-Stay Parts?

I am the 3rd owner of an Ericson 27 with a Mariner (who went out of business) Roller-Stay Furling System. One of the bearings in the Halyard Swivel, 200 series, needs to be replaced. Does anyone have knowledge of how to remove the bearings and what size bearings to purchase? I can most likely figure the proper size once I have the old bearings removed if I don't destroy them. Thanks in advance for your helpful response.

The system may have outlived it's possibility to repair. Looking at other sites, the last reference of an owner looking for parts was in 2011. You might try Rig-Rite.. Rig-Rite Inc. - Masts, Booms, Spars, Rigging, and Hardware for Sailboats.

Other than that you may be forced to look at a replacement product. I am partial to Harken, but there are several other good manufactures of furler systems. If you plan on sticking to a furler designed for Hank on Sails, your options narrow.

We are on our second Harken furler, over the last 30 years. Solid product and good support in my area of the NW, and you live closer to the Harken mothership.

Addendum: you should also post your message at the owners' web site, Front Page

And, you did not mention it, but DO replace the ancient headstay wire concealed beneath that old furler, during this deferred maintenance.
