I have a roller reefing jib that my wife really loves, no more having to put it up and take it down every sail. BUT, I can't seem to get it up tight against the head stay. Short of installing a winch is there any way to gain any mechanical advantage to get this sail up tight. The previous owner changed the halyards from wire/rope to all rope and I will be changing them back. Any other ideas?
