Marine Surveyor in Long Beach, CA?

I am about to make an offer on a mid 30' production cruiser in Long Beach, but am living in the Seattle area. Can someone recommend a good surveyor in the Long Beach area?

in the log magazine there ia an ad for kjels christian--christian marine surveyors--he goes as far north as santa barbara--excellent...he drives from san diego--but is most knowledgeable and excellent surveyor i have ever known

kjels is best money can buy--trusted--i had problems with the "usual" surveyors in lb area--never had any problems using kjels...awesome dude and well relspected industry wide---and i apprenticed with him for a minuet...is an awesome an professional surveyor----
