Marine aire 16 k btu unit will make loud buzzing sound after shut down

My aft air conditioner unit will operate normally for days then after a cycle and fan is off exhibits loud buzzing sound that won't stop even if power button is pressed on display..only way to stop it is switch the breaker...if I don't it will eventually trip on its own.unit pumps cold air. After a hr or so the unit will operate normally some time for hrs or days....any ideas

Is the buzz from the unit itself or a condensate pump? We have a Pacific condensate pump with an in-line water sensor. Sometimes the water sensor gets fouled and makes the pump run dry, making a buzz like what you describe.

Normally there is a Code like "HP" on the display.

My guess is slow or no flow from the sea water cooling.
