Marinas South Fla for 1 month stay

I'll be heading south this fall, and will need a place to leave my boat (Catalina 320) for 3 weeks in December. Any either recommendations or guidance for marinas/mooring fields around Miami? Is it hard to get a reservation? I'm looking for low cost (hence a preference for moorings).

Going to be tough. The "season" starts at Thanksgiving and goes to about Memorial Day.

It may seem counter intuitive but putting it on the hard may be easier.

Maybe put off a new bottom and do it then?

We stayed a few days at the Dinner Key moorings and were very satisfied. It can get a bit bouncy on a windy day. They have regular shuttle service and pump out boat. Great location. If you are not staying aboard while gone, there are private homes with docks for rent especially in Lauderdale. There is a website I recall seeing that advertised these. Google. And Craigslist.
