We are thinking to taking our Cabo Rico 34 Far and Away to Seattle by truck and living aboard for a couple of years. What are some good live aboard marinas in that neck of the woods, including Canada? We are looking for some amenities (laundry, showers) and proximity to at least a small downtown, library, gym etc.

or Pleasant harbor on Hood Canal, etc. Marinas nearer Seattle
generally have a waiting list.

Bellingham is a good gateway to the San Juans, Port Angeles to
Victoria B C and the San Juans. Port Angeles if you wish to do the
Van Isle. You should also consider the inside passage to Alaska.
Better yet. Anchor out, go where you please, come in to port as
you please. Most marinas have overnight accommodations for guests.

Anacortes, always listed as a great place to retire.
