Do you guys know that Maptech Chartbooks now come with electronic charts CD as well as software? All at a great price...very very slick...It all works great with my Garmin GPS 76CS. I am now trying to hook up my Garmin GPS 10 and can't get the Maptech software to talk to it. Does anyone have any experience with it?

Not with the GPS10, but...

I use the Maptech Offshor Navigator Lite with my notebook PC and whatever serial GPS source is available on the boat. It was my Raymarine unit, then a Garmin unit, now my new Furuno GP32. The only difficult issue has been getting the Maptech software to find and use the GPS information. This is because I must use an RS-232 to USB converter, and the intervening conversion and driver software cunfuses things. Sometimes the PC thinks the GPS data is a mouse! You should see hte mouse flying around the screen. I guess your issue is to make the Bluetooth device on teh computer look like a Com port to Offshore Navigator.

Try "telling" it you have a different unit

as I learned to do via tech support at Maptech. They advised to bypass the auto set up feature. You may have to experiment a little, but Garmin uses a proprietary transfer protocol that will/may confuse things. For example, Offshore Lite "thinks" my Garmin 72 is a 276cs plotter. Works fine. If a little experimenting is unsuccessful, give their support guys a call for suggestions.
