Tom, I am not sure what you are looking for the manual to do but I just found a problem with the wiring on my boat which may be a common problem to hunter25s. Both the positive and negative leads were attached to a wood board in the port hatch next to the distribution panel. The board got wet with sea water and as salt attracts moisture the board became a conduit between the positive and negative posts on the battery. This of course drained the battery in short order. I added a switch which seemed like a good thing to have and this isolated the pos and neg wires. Tom
