For those of you who have both the auto (red push button) engine shut down and a manual (pull/push) cable, I need some info on what fittings I need to install the push/pull cable on a Yanmar 3JH3E diesel. I have the Teleflex cable (TFExtreme 33), but need a source/spec sheet on the attachments to the fuel shut-off lever located on the starboard side of the Yanmar. I believe I need a cable mounting attachment strap and a "slide" fitting to attach to the shut-off lever. The engine currently has the auto red push button shut-down system, but I want to add a manual capability that can be used at the helm. Anybody have an equivalent setup?
