Need to replace my old Mansfield Head on my 1984 Hunter 31. What head would fit best with the least amount of alterations. Thanks

Several fit fine.

Steve: I would highly recommend a PHII witht he compact bowl. I only need to install a new raw water hose. The waste hose was fine. We have had Groco, Jabsco and the original head. The Raritan PHII is the real winner.

I vote for PHII

One came in my boat (76 h30) that I purchased in 1993. Good luck Royce

Don't buy a Jabsco.

Steve: Instead of buying a Jabsco, just throw the $120 overboard (real junk). We have a friend (name not mentioned) that has probably spent $500-600 on his Jabsco. He keeps thinking that it is finally going to be the end of the money pit if he puts in one more rebuild kit. When you remove the screws to lube the pump there is a good chance that it will either leak or you will strip out the screws. I purchased a PHII from W/M on a price match for $219 a couple of years ago and have been very pleased with it.
