I've checked the archives on canvas work and have found many that made a bimini. However, has anyone made a dodger? Any helpfull hints, recomendations, etc.. James-

Next winter.

My dodger project should not be too intimidating since I have an old Island Nautical to use as a pattern. And I did make my own bimini from a Sailrite kit. Go to the Photo Forum and search on "dodger". There you will find Dave Underwood's project photos. Also a Sailrite kit.

YES

I have a 1982 27' Hunter, with full coaming, perfect for hard and soft dodgers, my dodger is partial, like a wind shield, with removable slide out lexan windows, along the top edge is an extrusion, that accepts a 3/8" dia line sewed into the bimini, the partial dodger is made of 3/8" thk. Starboard, white, total cost $160,00 + $60.00 for bimini.
