Ah jeez
What do you mean exactly? Are you counting marina costs, fuel cost, or just simply general maintenance?Assuming general maintenance: It depends. Do any of the sails need to be replaced? What about the motor? Are there any high priced items that you're looking at replacing? Here are the basics: Yearly bottom job (depending where you live, of course - could be less often) if you do it yourself could cost you as little as a couple hundred bucks if you trailer it out & do it in your backyard, considerably more if you have a yard haul it out & do it for you.You also have to keep track of all running & standing rigging - if any are going bad, you must replace them. Running rigging for a 25 wouldn't be too spendy, standing rigging would be.Where are you? You might have to consider the electrical costs if you're planning on heat/AC.Fuel usually isn't that big of an expense unless all you do is motor. Even then it wouldn't even be worth budgeting more than $100 a year. For example, on my C27 (w/outboard), I only use 3/4 tank of gas each year! But you have to consider maintenance on the motor. If it's in great shape, you'll probably have fewer costs but yearly tune-ups are a must. There's more, of course, and maybe someone else will have something major I've forgotten. But remember: boats are only holes in the water into which we throw our money!LaDonnaPS: Don't be discouraged! These are only possible expenses. You CAN keep a boat maintained without spending your life savings - the smaller the boat, the less there is to maintain, thus the less you have to spend!
