I am in the process of reworking my mains'l reefing system and remembered that when I went to reef the last couple of years the lower mains'l slides hang up on the track gate when I lower the sail. This prevents me from taking out the bag in the lower part of the sail. I have the reefing system set up so I don't have to leave the cockpit to reef, but because the lower slides hang up, I end up having to go forward tend to this problem. Can I ommitt the problematic slide(s)? Does anyone out there have a working solution? As always, Thanks...
