looking for someone who has moved the mainshweet from mid boom to end boom an a cat. 30. not satisfied with present sheeting . love to hear from anyone who has tried something different.

I have to use a damn winch on my mainsheet when I can grab the end of the boom by hand and easily pull it in. I hate the mainsheet routing on a catalina 30. If you fix it email me at rclack@hotmail.com!

Check for friction points

My mainsheet (H33.5) was a bear to adjust. I slightly changed how it was routed and added ball bearing blocks and what a difference it made. Check if your mainsheet is wound around the blocks correctly (mine wasn't) and check were the sheet could be rubbing on anything. Every little bit of friction that you stop makes a difference, it did with mine.Roc
