What is the current fair price for a mainsail. Do you recommend
getting reef points? I have not yet had occasion to use the roller
reefing, but I am getting braver. Where does the crank fit?

In the UK we expect to pay about £500 for a good mainsail with three reefing
points.

the crank fits into the boom's square hole on the underside
right where the boom is attached to the mast.
