Does anyone have experience with Harken's, Schaefer's or any manufacturer's mainsail tracks designed to ease the burden of raising and lowering the mainsail? I've got a '97 Catalina 30 MkIII; while the main is hardly overpowering, I'd like to make managing the thing as easy as possible as I ease (next month) into my 60th year. Thanks for any info. Jerry

I only have first hand experience with the Harken system. The system can be installed with the mast in the boat and requires very little modification to the sail. They are priced quite reasonably and make a huge reduction in effort to raise the sail. A system AA would be perfect, you will need 12 track sections.
