Mainsail Slides and Shackles

While sailing this afternoon on our 1998 H240 :dance: I had a couple of the plastic slides on the mainsail give up the ghost after 12 years of good sailing that is an acceptable life span for a piece of plastic in my opinion. Now I am looking at replacing them and the others as well since they are probably not long for this world either.

My question is what size should I order from the SBO chandlery. I have the options of 7/16 or 3/4" shackles and 5/16 or 7/16" slides. The links to the chandlery pages are below. I know I should just head back down to the boat and try to measure the old slides and shackles, but I was just hoping the knowledge base here could save me the trip.

I replaced all my plastic slides with the 7/16 steel and nylon ones. The main is much easier to raise and lower now. I didn't need to replace the shackles, so I can't help on that one.

Hopefully my 2002 H260 uses the same size. I measured mine prior to ordering.

I'm about 2 hours from my boat; can anyone tell me how many slides there are on the sail on a 260?

I'm gonna WAG this one. I'd say 12. Order 20. Never fun to have one break on you when you are sailing or worse; to wait for one while the "good" sailing days are spent at the dock. :cussing::bang:

Order the two closest sizes... Time is money and the extra box of slides would be more than worth a 2 hr ride.
