Main sheet traveller system?

Albin Vega 27 Limerick
Hi - bought Albin Vega 1447 "Breakaway" in June - kept on large lake in
Irish midlands.

In light F1-2 winds last night left a Kelt 27 (10 years her junior) for
dead - pointed higher & half a knot faster.

I've seen some derogatory comments about Vegas (coming from Sweden?) but
I must say I have found little to criticise in terms of performance.

I still have the (?) original bronze main sheet traveller track without
a system for heaving car up to windward with pulleys etc.

Is there a recommended supplier/ recommended system?

Thanks,

John

Hi John.

Ive replaced my traveler with a Lewmar system. It comes as a complete
kit and is a bolt on replacement. It includes Track, Traveler (ball
bearing), Pulleys and jam cleats for a 2 to 1 system. Took about 30
minutes to fit. Forgot how much it cost but it was less than £100. Well
worthwhile.

Hi John

Anything that fits will do. I used an IYC system that I found at a Boat
Jumble. They will all do the work.

Cheers
