Tom Simpson is an interesting case. We don't hear from him much but he might be lurking out there. He and his wife left for the South Pacific way back, must be nine or ten years now. They got as far as Catalina Island. Last I heard they were still there.
As for the table I like mine and never considered a fold down. I did modify it so that I could move it. And not worry about the yard workers trying to put the mast through it.
