Main salon hatches

Hi, All, Have been off this serv since last fall, so don't know whether anyone has asked about these ... I need to either replace or repair my main salon hatch, whic his cracked. Last fall, I INTENDED to purchase a new one from Ocean Outfitters in Annapolis, who had a batch of "seconds" [brand new, perhaps overruns]for $50. Perfect! Didn't buy ... The heavy snows this winter caused Ocean Outfitter's Quonset hut structure to cave! No more OO! So, I went to maritime plastics place here to get prices for repair ... $110! Yikes! Am asking you all if you know of place like OO that may have replacement hatches for cheap! Thanks in advance for your help! D~

Just the plastic?

Dee: Is it just the plastic that has cracked? If so you can go to a plastics shop and have them cut you another piece. Then you r/r the plastic and use the proper sealant to seat it in place. Contact he hatch mfg. to see what sealant that they recommend.
