Main sail tack. H22

I just purchased a H 22 2014. The manual is not exactly the same as the the boat. I think this was some special build. How do I attach the Mainsail tack? There is a cleat just below?

I don't have a 22 but my 23 is similar. Look at the gooseneck fitting in your 1st photo. There is a "tab" sticking up, with a hole. Almost certainly you would insert a D-shaped shackle , maybe about an inch and a half from the pin to the end of the shackle, through the tack grommet and then through that hole in the fitting. That shackle may be missing from your boat, may have been installed elsewhere, or may be hidden away somewhere.
