Main Sail Repair

Our main sail needs the bolt rope replaced. Can anyone recommend a reliable source?Thanks!

I had my mainsail and jib cleaned and restored (new stitching) by sailcare, and was very pleased with the quality of work. It cost about $75 for each. You send your sails in via UPS, and they do the work, and return. NOTE- my repairs took at least a month to turn-around, so you may want to call to see if they can do a rush job for you, if you want it back sooner.

In Cataumet Massachusetts. (It's near the Cape Cod Canal)They are a great loft - I can't recommend them higher.It's about an hour and a half from me, so I use UPS. They made a new mail for me in about 10 days. Very reasonable too.Geof

Do it with a local sail loft. Sailcare does good repair and a great job of cleaning but they are not sail makers. r.w.landau
