I wanted to remove my main for cleaning and repair, but I can't figure out how without dropping mast. There is no wide spot in the track near the boom. Any suggestions?
Look for a small metal plate along the track between 6" to 12" above the boom. This plate may swivel or be held by screws or even rivets. Remove and you will expose the gate which will allow you to remove the sail.
