Main Hatch Leak

I just purchased a 2000 Hunter 380 and while moving it up from Oriental, NC I discovered that the main Hatch leaks quite a bit during a moderate to heavy rain. Any help is appreciated on how repair this problem.In addition, there is water coming in from the starboard side fix windshield located over the settee. Does anyone know if this is a do-it-yourself repair or am I forced to contact a hunter dealer?Thank you,MikeGalesville, MD

Mike:My 376 had what appears to be the same leak, except that it was really coming from the starboard hatch ajacent to the mast. The water ran along the headliner and came out directly over the fixed port that you mentioned over the setee. I thought it was the window for the longest time, until I stuck my hand up under the headliner and felt the dampness. A little hose work on and around the deck revealed the hatch as the culprit.... needed to be rebedded.Good luck......Jeff

Weather Stripping

My 376 hatch leaked at the hatch. New weather stripping solved it.
