The main halyard is difficult, sometimes impossible to winch the last 6-8 inches. There is a wide point where the line is braided which seems to be the culprit. Suggestions?
If you have 1/2" line on the halyard, you probably need to down size one or two sizes (3/8 or 7/16"). We had a simliar issue with our H'31. You also need to be sure that your track is clean and lubricated. I would suggest that you clean it with a scrubby pad and lube it with Mclube before you change out the halyard.
