I keep reading that, in addition to fuses for all your circuits, there should be a master fuse on the whole battery, and that it should be within a few inches of the battery terminal (positive terminal I suppose).
This makes all the sense in the world, but looking at my 2006 Hunter 33, I can't find any such fuse. There is the main DC circuit breaker, though that's not a few inches from the terminal. Is that meant to do the job, and if so, is it in compliance with NMEA and any other appropriate regulations?
