On order: Harken's if money is no object. Schaefer's are good for the price. Ronstan's are a bit cheaper, but OK. (Both should be at least Series 5 or 50)

Check Garhauer

I just replaced the fiddle block on my Hunter 31 last week. I shopped for Harken, Schaefer, Ronstan, but found Garhauer to have a very high quality product with the best price, fastest service and excellent warranty. I also have a Garhauer boom vang which is an excellent product, also reasonably priced. They have an online catalog on their WEB page: www.garhauer.com.

Improvise!

Bottom sheave busted in mine, mostly age and use. Friends said go buy a new one. I'm a real improviser so I bought a new sheave, and with a little adjusting and a stainless bolt I fixed my problen for $5.75 and it works lika a charm!
