The previous owner has replaced the original windows with inexpensive and deteriorating plexiglas that is oversized to allow screw holes to the cabin walls. I'm awlgripping the boat from the waterline up and want to know how the original material had been installed and held in place. Was there a retaining trim moulding? I'm considering 1/2" tempered glass as an appropriate replacement.

Columbia portlights

John, The original windows are standard aluminum and are attached similar to any port light. You can go on line or look at them in westmarine catalog. We want to replace our windows also but these window are not standard width or length. I am sure you can have them custom made. We want to convert some to opening ports but again it looks like a very custome job and very expensive. jim
