Hello everyone, I just purchased a 1975 oDay 25 (without) sails, if you can believe it. So I find myself in need of a main and head sail (non furling). My new to me 25 is a swing keel with a 33' mast. Are there any 25 owners who might take pity on me and sell a pair of good condition used sails to get me going? I know, I know, thats asking alot, but the fever is hot and I need to get out on the water to cool it's rage. Please help Clay Using1@aol.com

A Small Correction
The O'Day 25 you got is a center board model, not a swing keel. A true swing keel has the weighted keel swing or move up and down. The O'Day has a 2.5' trunk, with a centerboard that drops another 3.5'. Good luck on getting things fixed up. Sounds like a good offer on the old sails, grab 'em.

Hi Clay, I have a main and a 110% jib. The jib is hank-on. They are both old, but useable. The jib was slightly damaged last year in a storm. The seam along the leach came apart and the leach-line is hanging out. There are also some grommets pulled out near the clew. The sail is still functional though. The main is in good, although well-used condition. These might not win you any races, but they’ll get you out on the water. I would like $250 for both. I can send pictures if you want. Make me an offer? Steve

I don't know hwy Clay hasn't called .I also don't know what the sail might be worth.Normally I just send out the stuff and let the person cut me a check for whatever they think that it is worth. The sail is in a box ready to go .Just call,I can have it go out in the morning.
