Magic tilt trailer without center bunk board

I bought this H240 with the Magic tilt trailer. Mine does not have a center bunk board for the kiel to sit on. All the other threads I have read, talk about this center bunk board. Is it okay without one? There is no room for a board unter the kiel right now (see picture)...Thx.

It is recommended that when the boat is in the trailer, the line be loosened and the keel rests on the board before towing.

The board also ensures the keel doesn't strike anything as the boat is floated on and off the trailer.

From the photo, it looks like you have the same clearance as mine. The board only needs two inches.

On my C22 I had a roller mounted that helped guide the boat on the trailer. Like was said above lower the swing keel onto the trailer after loading.

So all Magic Tilt trailers for H240s have the center bunk?
