The macerator keeps blowing the 20amp fuse in a matter of 5 seconds or less. Any ideas?

Dried crud in the blades. It wasn't flushed with clean water after the last use.

I assume it's a breaker,. not a fuse, right?

The breaker could be bad but more likely the macerator motor is seized and needs to be replaced. These things are prone to failure if not "treated" properly and although one can sometimes fix it, the job is disgusting.

The macerator pump in my 343 has a rubber plug on the motor end opposite the pump end. The plug pries off and you can fit a flat blade screwdriver on the end of the shaft to rotate the shaft and free IP a jam.
I did pull my pump after flushing lots of clear water through since I had a recurring leak at the threads for the inlet elbow. I found that the tab on the chopper plate had bent flat and was not engaging the impeller slot. Tweaked it back over with pliers and reassembled. To fix the leaky non tapered threads I used multiple wraps of the yellow Teflon tape used on natural gas fittings.
Hasn't leaked since. Grinds.
I had caused my problems by forgetting to open the thru hull downstream of the pump.
