Now wind surfing in 80 degree water then drying off on the beach lathered in sun screen and listening to the breeze blow through the fragrant tropical flowers while my first mate........ SPRING NEEDS TO COME N-O-W!!!
Yea Baby, Me and my First are off to Bonaire for 2 weeks in Windsurfing heaven, so there can be no snow on fly out Tuesday .

And, I did. Thanks for the post. It was just enough to tip the scales.

Very reassuring. Despite being a couch potato since haul out, no heaviness in the chest, no pain radiating down the left arm, even trying to take a short cut and ending up fighting my way uphill through knee high unbroken snow. I don't think I've breathed that hard since racing to rescue the dinghy on my science cruise.

It was beautiful. A reminder of what a privilege it's been to spend every one of 60 winters in the northeast. Been there, done that, nice tee shirt, thanks. Balance is important in life. What's it going to take to balance 60 years of snow? I'm damn well going to find out.

An inspiring post.

One thing I love about the Cheapeake Bay area is that we have a long (depending on ones tolerance for cold) sailing season and we also have winter and the mountains. But in a few years I am going to need to get better aquainted with warm winters. Something about balance.
