Is it just me or are there others out there having difficulty getting anyone to respond to requests for parts. I have emailed four different dealers requesting information on availability of parts for the 26X. I received only one response, which basically stated that Macgregor was in a transition to the 26M and availability of the standard advertised "optional" parts on the Mac website was on hold. I'm ready to sell this thing and buy another boat from a manufacturer with better customer service. It could just be that it's a beautiful 74 degree day and I'm sitting here working that accounts for my grumpy attitude. :) Cheers

What kind of parts are you looking for? Bluewater is pretty good....A1 is another good place.

Hey

Hey Timm, Sorry for delay but we've been on spring break all week. I've been looking for a bimini, mainsail cover and jib sock. I can by the sail covers off market so to speak but would like to have the Macgregor bimini. No big rush I guess but the dealers seem to be in limbo including 1A. Haven't tried Bluewater yet. Thanks for the referal. Jim

MACGREGOR Parts

I am in Canada and Parts for older models (mine is a 1988 26D ) are hard to come by but, try Havencraft in New England area. http://www.macgregorparts.com/havenframe.asp I ordered many things from them and I was pleased with both service and positive attitude(very Helpful). They have everything from nuts and rudders to sails plus add ons (bimini). You can view or download the parts catalog on line and order via a secure connection with your credit card. They are in a middle of relocation as it is but I beleive they are up and running at this time. Good Luck ! Mario (-:=

Thanks Will, Someone else had mentioned Powersailing Center in Ohio. I'll give them a call. Matter closed. Weather here in middle Tn is getting really nice now. Put the boat back in the water this past Saturday. Jim
