Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this boat. I like sailing my hobie for the speed, and wondered how this boat performs sailing and if the hulls had room to sleep in, etc. Anyone with one, or who has sailed on one, have any comments? richard

Sleep

I live 90 miles from the nearest water and so I tend to spend 3 to 4 days on the water at a time. I pull my 93 mac with a S10 pickup that has a 4 cyl. and auto. Sleeping on the lake saves me camp ground fees and I stay away fron all the noise. It is not first class but fine for the two of us.

no but

when in key west I've seen a few charter, snorkel type M 36's. the didnt look like they had much room below at all. they held a lot of people, in the center and front tramp/net. clearly they would be fast, but not sure if you'd want to fly a hull in it, like w/ a hobie. the hulls looked very low, not sure you could even sit up below...

If you like a Hobie and want to get a real boat...

Look at a tri-maran. Like a Corsair. They fly over the water, with some room. But if you want comfort in a berthing area, sailability on the water, comforts like a sink, stove and Porta-Potty go with a monohull.
