Recently hurricane/storm Ernesto caught the stern seat on my MacGregor 26M, swung it and broke the seat hinge. Has anyone replaced this before? It isn't especially sturdy. How do you get at the nuts on the back of the three screws holding the side of the hinge on the stern? I'm guessing that if I remove the white stern running light, there MAY be just enough opening to get at the nuts? Otherwise it would take a VERY LONG extension arm on a ratchet, a mirror, and a LOT of fumbling to try to get them from the rear bearth. Thanks!
