Have a Hunter 410 front head macerator keeps running. Worked fine until visitor who swears they did not flush anything down used it last. Fills fine, empty's ok but macerator runs and runs and runs so I have to just shut the head breaker off. Any suggestions. Last post made mistake thinking it was a vacuum, after closer inspection it is labeled Macerator.

My macerator is hardwired to a manual switch. It is not controlled with any other switch. Does yours have an automatic control of some sort?

Your EcoVac toilet IS a vaccuum toilet. It doesn't have a macerator...it's the vacuum pump that won't shut off. Your boat didn't have a breaker labeled "toilet" so the installer used the one labeled "macerator."

Have you even looked at the trouble shooting guide and the maintenance and use guide that I sent you? The trouble shooting guide includes possible reasons the pump won't shut off and the cures for it. If you can't sort out what to do after you've read it and tried a couple of things--starting with flushing at least TWO full bowls of water through it--email me and we'll get on the phone instead of trying to do this via keyboard.
