macerator fuse blows

The macerator pump fuse on my 81 Cat 30 blows a few seconds after starting. I've installed a new macerator pump and it worked ok a few times then started to do this. Any suggestions as to the cause/cure?

Are you open to a wild guess?

A bad connection somewhere or maybe a plugged vent that is not allowing the pump to draw. good luck, Jack

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 89 C30. I STILL HAVEN'T TRACKED DOWN THE PROBLEM. GOOD LUCK!
