Mac 25' Tuning

I bought a Mac 25' at the end of the season last year.I got a chance to have it out 3 or 4 times before the bitter cold hit.However, it seemed that there was an awful lot of slopin the side rigging. When I took the mast down for the winter, I noticed it had a slight bend to it. This bendis approximatley 6 to 8 inches, going to one side.I'm wondering if the rigging was too loose. If so, howtight should I make it. I got a manual from Mac, but itleft that part out. Thanks, Jeff Smith
