I am considering purchasing an asymmetrical spinnaker this winter to fly on my Mac 25. I know that the standard spinnaker for this boat has a luff of 22'6". My question is this...to those of you who use the standard sized spinnaker flown from the jib halyard block...do you attach to the forestay fitting or use a down-haul line through a block at the forestay fitting? Also, for those that use a down-haul line (or pennant)...how much line do you normally use (from tack of spinnaker to forestay fitting (or block). That is, how high up does the spinnaker tack normally fly?
