Here we go again. I have a Mac 19 that I'd like to modify so I can haul up the rudders from the cockpit, preferably without having to hang off the stern to remove the shear pins. I know this has been posted a few times before, but I'm looking for either a picture or good explanation of a successful conversion. Anybody out there have any ideas? Thanks in advance. Got this from somewhere.

"Drilled 1/4" holes in upper trailing edges of rudders, run 1/8" line from holes to turning blocks on transom above rudders then to clam cleats just aft of fuel tanks with bitter ends tied to tee handles. Pull and cleat lines to retract rudders." It did not include any info. on how to lock the rudders down, but did say he used pointed wood pins for the shear pins. Good luck, Ron
