M25XP Elbow

I am in process of removing a seized M25XP. The elbow from the exhaust manifold to the muffler is wrapped in a white fabric wrapped in duck tape...hmm.

Is the elbow a pipe or is it hardened hose? Is it pre-bent like hose in a car and there is a specific part number? Thanks, Alec

If the white wrap looks like duct tape, it's probably just exhaust wrap. They use the same on motorcycles and some cars. It could be asbestos if the boat is pre-1978.

The elbow is typically a combination of hard pipe (steal typically) and hose. Usually they are custom made pieces. A lot of us have made our own. I have a post on my blog about the one I made.
