We purchased a 1983 Catalina 30 TR last summer with a M25 diesel engine with a Hurst transmission. I have two questions regarding this transmission: 1. What is the fluid capacity (is it different from the manual?) 2. What fluid is to be used? Thanks in advance.

Fill to the top mark with the dip stick threads resting on the top of the case, not screwed in. Hurth doesn't recommend synthetic oil. If your transmossion is really a "Hurst" and not a Hurth, disregard this message. Fair winds, Jack
