Our M 25 Diesel has hesitated to start at times following the 30 second hold of the glow plug button and pushing the start button. A fellow boater mentioned connectors that were available as an upgrade on the wiring harness. Torresen Marine Diesel had no information on an upgrade, but does sell a new harness and extensions to reach the switch panel. Has anyone had any experience with similar starting hesitation? What is the method to better insure a consistant start? Thanks, Phil

Universal service bulletin 213. If you have intermittent cranking problems what you probably need to do is replace the wire mentioned in item 3. Not too hard to do and worked like a charm for me. If it cranks well but doesn't start you may need to replace the wire to the glow plug.
