Can anyone confirm that Lyle Hess passed away in the past few days? I read this on the trailersailor.com site and thought someone might have seen an obituary or news article. If so, He will certainly rank among the world's most notable designers of solid seaworthy and salty yachts. /Chuck SV "Windsongs" H23

Can't confirm it but also heard the same.

Chuck: I also heard the same thing last week. I have not been able to confirm this either. From what I gather, he was in a rest home in Long Beach, CA.
