Luff length

Can anybody tell me the luff length on my Hunter Horizon 26.I want to use a snuffer on the cruising chute.

always measure the sail

dont take the boat measurement for granted. I always measure the sail im working with before investing in something that winds up the wrong size.

While measuring your sail

will get you pretty close to the luff length, it may not give you the maximum length your boat can or should carry. You would have to stretch out the sail's luff the same way/distance it is stretched when hoisted. Measuring the actual luff, but running a line up the halyard, and then measuring that length, is far more accurate -- if accuracy is the object.
