We have a 15 year old Beneteau 331. I noticed at the very end of last year I could not get the Stove top to light. I switched the Solenoid breaker back and forth yesterday getting ready after winter lay-up. My brother was listening at the valve and did not hear it. He tapped it an we thought it clicked but did not seem to work. Left it on and noticed it did get pretty warm tot the touch.
We really don't use the stove all that much and Im thinking its gone bad.

Beneteau has a replacement set-up for about $220 including the regulator. The valve alone is about half. It does not really seem serviceable and I was thinking if I'm going through the trouble replace whole assembly.
Anyway thoughts or help would be appreciated. Tank shows about 125 psi on gage and appears to be half filled by weight....

So last year on my 2000 Bene 361. I had a stove problem, I could light it and it would stay lit for about 5 minutes or so then would not light again. I replaced the regulator, no good and then the solenoid. Problem fixed. I bought both parts at West Marine, for less then $100 for both parts. It's might have been like 35 for each, don't remember. Just buy a solenoid, they are easy to replace, you will need some pipe dope to seal the threads. You can get that at any hardware store. I had to pull the insert in the tank compartment out to do the wiring. No big deal.
