Lowrance N2K backbone with Garmin devises

I have a Lowrance N2K backbone and want to get some Garmin devises. Do I need garmin backbone cable or can i just use the Lowrance?

Is your Lowrance backbone made of Simnet cables, or Micro-C? If the latter should be no problem, as Garmin uses NMEA2000 standard screw-on Micro-C connectors. If it's a Simnet backbone, and you have spare multi-joiner ports, you can get micro-c to Simnet drop cables.
