I have a Lowrance 522c iGPS, I am trying to hook up my Uniden Solara DSC VHF radio. I have tried to figure out the wiring configuration for both units but unable to get the two units working. The wiring diagrams for both units are somewhat confusing, The Lowrance wiring is as follows Orange- Recieve data Shield- Ground Yellow- Transmit data Uniden Solara VHF Ubit. Thick Black : DC GND Orange: External speaker (+) Black: External speaker (-) Green : GPS Data In Brown: GPS GND Yello: NC If there is someone out there that can help out I would greatly appreciate it.

Wire the YELLOW from the GPS to the GREEN of the radio. Wire SHIELD of the GPS to the BROWN of the radio, and also connect to a ground termination. If this was a help to you please let me know by posting a reply to your own post.
