I have a '79 Hunter 33 just purchased last year and I am trying to update it without spending more than I paid for the boat. I would like a roller furling but am reluctant to invest $2-$3,000. Is this an item I can find used? and do I want to find a used one? What are some of the best deals you have found? Thanks for your input.

You would really find it hard to beat the price and quality of the CDI. Go to riggingonly.com

A real furler.

Mike: If you want a real quality furler take a look at the one that they sell here on the HOW site. These are probably as good as anything on the market and they are reasonably priced. Spin-tec is the brand. You can call them and discuss your setup with them. www.spin-tec.com
